Chism-Okoh Selected To Play In TABC All-Star Game
Senior Mount Pleasant guard Zaveion Chism-Okoh was selected to play in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star Game this weekend in San Antonio. Zaveion will play in the 5A/6A game set for 7 PM on Friday, May 14 at Northside ISD Paul Taylor Fieldhouse. The all-star game is in conjunction with the TABC Coaches Clinic held each year in the San Antonio area. Chism-Okoh was one of only 24 players selected from across the state. He will be a part of the Orange team which will be coached by Kenneth Coleman, head coach at Humble Summer Creek. Chism-Okoh led the Tigers in scoring at 13 points per game taking the team to an impressive record (27-1,12-0) and back-to-back district titles and regional tournament appearances. The 6’2″ guard was also chosen District MVP and named to the All-Region and All-State teams. Zaveion has already committed to attend Link Year Prep in Branson, Missouri to continue his playing career in the Fall.
