The district is required by law to post a number of reports. Below you will find links to the No Child Left Behind Reports, the State Accountability Reports and the District and Campus District Improvement Plans. 2022-2023 Federal Report Cards

The U.S. Department of Education requires each state to publish an annual report card with specific district- and campus-level data. The MPISD district and campus federal report cards can be found  at https://tea.texas.gov/texas-schools/accountability/academic-accountability/performance-reporting/federal-report-cards.  In order to find the appropriate district report, you may use the district number 225902.

Texas provides annual academic accountability ratings to its public school districts. The ratings are based largely on performance on state standardized tests and graduation rates. The ratings examine student achievement, student progress, and efforts to close the achievement gap.

2017-2018 Distinction Designations

Distinction designations are awarded to campuses in ELA/reading, mathematics, science, social studies, Academic Growth, and Closing the Gaps. Distinction designations are awarded to campuses and districts in Postsecondary Readiness. Distinction designations are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics. Campuses must be rated Met Standard overall to be eligible for distinction designations.

Texas Academic Performance Reports

The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status.

Mt. Pleasant ISD Accreditation Status

The Texas Education Agency awards an accreditation status to each public school district. The accreditation status is based on the academic accountability rating and financial ratings from the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas. A district must be accredited by the state to operate as a public school.

Mount Pleasant ISD is an Accredited District.  The MPISD FIRST Rating is A-SUPERIOR.

The campus improvement plan (CIP) serves as the blueprint for how a campus will actually address the needs identified for a campus. An effective CIP can bring focus and coherence to reform activities and help ensure unity of purpose, alignment, and clear accountability.
