Four Mt. Pleasant High School Tiger athletes signed letters of intent to play at the college level in a ceremony in the MPHS Fieldhouse Tuesday.  The audience included family members, coaches, teachers, teammates, students and the media. Jorge Hernandez signed a scholarship to run Cross Country at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. Jeremy Johnson and Joseph Griffin both signed letters to play Football at Bethel University in Tennessee. Both will receive athletic scholarships.

Jaquille Rodgers signed a letter of intent to play Football at Texas A&M Commerce as a walk-on. Athletic Director Corey Homer said that he and the MPHS coaches are proud of their achievement and commended them each for the hard work it took them to make it to this day. He also reminded them that ”Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger”.
