The Mount Pleasant High School Sports & Entertainment Marketing students toured AT&T Stadium on Wednesday, November 1. The students learned interesting facts about the stadium, but the highlights of the day were touring the press box, the Cowboys’ locker room, and the world-famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ dressing room. To finish the tour, the students were granted access to the field through the Pro Club, the very same entrance the Cowboys use before each game. To complete their experience, the students enjoyed throwing and kicking a football on the Dallas Cowboys’ field.

Sports and Entertainment Marketing is part of the MPHS Business, Finance, and Marketing program. Students investigate the components of branding, sponsorships and endorsements, as well as promotion plans needed for sports and entertainment events. This course also supports career development skills and explores career options in the sports and entertainment industry.
