“I am extremely proud of the showing of our FBLA students at our virtual State Leadership Conference,” said head FBLA adviser, John Whitten. “It is such an unbelievable blessing and fantastic showing to have 19 qualify for Nationals and have 14 more alternates — both are school records. More than half of the students we had compete at state placed in the top seven. Even though students will miss out on the experience of going to Salt Lake City, they are still looking forward to competing on the Nationals level. I am proud of all the hard work, preparation and dedication that our students started putting in beginning in October. With hard work comes the success that they deserve.”
