The Mount Pleasant High School Lady Tiger basketball team attended Team Camp at East Texas Baptist University on June 14-16. At the end of camp, the Lady Tigers were the 3-0 undefeated ETBU Team Camp Champions taking down Brownsboro, Buffalo, and Wolfe City.

In addition, two Lady Tigers earned individual accolades. Rising senior Kaylin Brannon was named the MVP of Team Camp and rising junior Kennedy Jones was selected for the All-Tournament Team.

“This experience was absolutely amazing,” said Head Coach, Crystal Jackson-James. “We ate together, had fellowship together and played as a team. The coaching staff at ETBU were hospitable and stated we have a very good team. They will be coming to support and looking forward to some of our Mount Pleasant Tigers as future ETBU Tigers.”
