In the band hall in front of the Goin’ Gold Band, MPISD administrators, family and friends, Mount Pleasant High School seniors Bruno DeLeon, Anthony Gonzalez, Isaac Jetton, and Edward Moya signed letters of intent to play in the “Showband of Arkansas” Marching Band at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Ar.

All are four-year members of the Goin’ Gold Band and have all been members of the MPHS Jazz Band. DeLeon plays Baritone and will major in Music Education and pursue a minor in Music Composition. He is the son of Bruno DeLeon and Marisa Ramirez. Gonzalez plays Baritone and plans to major in Music Instrumental Education. He is the son of Maria Martinez. Jetton plays French Horn and will major in Music Education with a minor in Music Theory. He is the son of Jason and Carrie Jetton. And Moya is a percussionist and plans to major in Music Education with a minor in Business Administration. He is the son of Ana Gonzalez.
