The Mount Pleasant High School Lady Tigers played in the 5th annual Red River Hoopfest in Texarkana, featuring top teams from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and others. They defeated Southwind, TN 54-28. Sophomore Janelle Hurndon was the leading scorer with 18 points and 9 rebounds.
