MPHS UIL Math and Literary Criticism Teams Prepare for District
The Mount Pleasant High School UIL Math, Science, and Literary Criticism teams continued to prepare for the district meet at invitationals in Mabank and Sabine on Saturday, March 7. UIL Math and Science attended the East Texas Showdown Math-Science Meet at Sabine High School, earning a 2nd place large school Sweepstakes award. And the Lit Crit team brought home two individual medals from the Mabank Mad Dash at Mabank High School.

The full team will compete at the district meets on March 26, 27, and 31 for the opportunity to move on to Regionals in April. UIL Math and Science is coached by Osias Hernandez, Randy Ballard, and Larry Russell. And UIL Lit Crit is coached by Kimberly Cox.
