Due to the possibility of winter weather this weekend, we would like to remind all of our Tiger families of the procedures in place in case of school delay or closure…

MPISD WINTER WEATHER PROTOCOL

1. The Superintendent will determine if classes will be delayed or if school will be closed by 5:30 a.m. (at the latest) on the day of the weather event.

2. An automated phone call will be sent to the entire district if there is a delay or closure. All information will also be posted on the homepage of the MPISD website at www.mpisd.net and to MPISD’s social media pages (Facebook, MPHS Instagram, and Twitter).

3. MPISD will notify the radio stations. These stations will list or announce the closings at their own discretion.

4. Employees will be notified via a district-wide email whether or not they are to report for work.
