The Mount Pleasant High School Bass Fishing Team continued its season in the first tournament of the spring semester at the Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA) tournament on Lake Tyler on February 12.

The team of freshmen Rolston Morton and Seth Robertson finished in 23rd place out of 110 teams with two fish weighing in at 4.48 lbs. Boat Captain for Morton and Robertson is Randy Hinton.

The MPHS Bass Fishing teams will continue their season on March 5th at home on Lake Bob Sandlin.
