MPHS Campus Restaurant, The Tiger Den, Opens for Business
The Tiger Den, the Mount Pleasant High School campus restaurant, is opening for business for the 2026-2027 school year! The Tiger Den will open this year on Tuesday, October 13. Under the guidance of Chef Rhiannon Vose, Practicum in Culinary Arts students operate an actual working restaurant located at the front of Mount Pleasant High School. The restaurant is open for business every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
The new menu includes a chicken fried steak meal that comes with gravy, and a choice of 2 sides including mac and cheese, bacon wrapped green beans, or garlic herb mashed potatoes. A new addition includes a classic burger with a side of potato chips. And for a lighter option there is a Cobb Salad with grilled chicken. In the future the menu will add a Meal from Around the World representing the region the students will be studying. Dessert options include Cream Puffs filled with vanilla bean pastry cream, Lemon Posset topped with fresh berries, or Death by Chocolate Cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Beverages options are water and sweet or unsweet tea. The total meal price varies from $6.00-$7.50 with drinks and taxes included in the price of the meal.
To dine at The Tiger Den, park in the front of Mount Pleasant High School and the restaurant is located on the far-left side when looking at the building.
