The Tiger and Lady Tiger golf teams finished out their fall season on Tuesday with a tournament held at the Tempest Golf Club in Gladewater.

The boys’ team took first place with a team total of 328 narrowly edging out district opponent Hallsville with a 329. Matthew Peterson and Brady Sisk both finished in 6th place overall shooting an 80 on the day. Sam Sloan followed up by shooting an 83 and Kade Strickland and George Burrows each finished with an 85.

The Lady Tiger team of Grelyn Goolsby, Reese Ball, and Isabella Greco competed individually with Goolsby taking third place overall with an 81. Ball shot her best round of the Fall with an 87 and Greco finished with a 98.

Both teams will take some time off as the weather turns cool and resume their quest for a district championship in the Spring.
