Mount Pleasant High School Qualifies Three for Regional Track Meet
Mount Pleasant High School competed in the Area track meet on Friday, April 11 at Anna High School. Three MPHS athletes have advanced to the Regional meet, the final step before the UIL State Championships.
After winning the district championship, junior Olivia Glenn was also the Area Champion in the discus with a throw of 110.8’.
Sophomore Terrelle Beard placed 2nd at District and 4th at Area with a time of 40.48 in the 300M hurdles to secure a spot at the Regional meet.
And sophomore KK Brannon placed 4th in the 200M at both District and Area, with a time of 24.95 at Area, to advance to the Regional meet.
The UIL 5A Region II meet is Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 at the University of Texas at Arlington.
