Senior Lady Tiger softball standout Carson Zachry has been selected as a 2021 Northeast Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star for the 7th Annual Heart of a Champion All-Star Softball Game. Carson was selected as a member of the Blue team and will get the opportunity to play with and against other seniors from East Texas. The FCA All-Star Week will kick off June 3-4, 2021 with the actual game to be played on June 4 at the UT-Tyler Patriot Softball Field. The FCA Media Day is scheduled for Sunday, February 21 which will include photo ops and interviews.

Carson, a four-year starter for the Lady Tigers softball program, was selected as an infielder for the All-Star Game. She plays shortstop, second base and pitches for the Lady Tigers. Carson signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division I softball at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA last Spring.

“We are very proud of Carson for this great honor,” said head Lady Tiger softball coach Jeremy Tarrant. “She is well-deserving of being selected to this prestigious event and we know she will represent her family, softball team and Mount Pleasant ISD with pride.”
