The Mount Pleasant boys varsity golf team opened their season on Monday with an early morning tournament at Pine Crest Country Club in Longview. The Tigers finished third overall with a final team score of 317 just behind Tyler Legacy (315) and Pine Tree (308). Junior Brady Sisk finished in third place individually with a 3-over par 73 to pace the Tigers. Matthew Peterson finished with a 79, George Burrows 80, Kade Strickland 85, and Sam Sloan shot 92. The Tigers will tune things up and hit the links again on Feb 25 at Mount Pleasant Country Club. Tee time is set for 9:00 AM.
