Statement from the MPISD Athletic Director and Head Football Coach, Ritchie Pinckard regarding the football game Friday night…
Tiger Fans:
Your Tigers are very ready to see all of you Thursday and Friday night, and we hope many of you find your way to the games. I know many of you are very aware of what each of these guys have gone through to get to this point. I can’t begin to tell you how much work and patience has been required from these guys. And they have delivered without fail every day! I say these things so that everyone will realize how crucial it is to help us stay on the field by following the COVID-19 protocol and mask up! The UIL (our governing body) has issued warnings to several schools in our area for not following the mask rule. And they will shut us down if we fail to comply! These boys deserve the right to keep their season, so please help them by continuing to comply with the rules.
We are much stronger with all of you behind us, and we thank you for your devoted support!
