Tracie Smith and Jason Frazier of the North East Texas credit Union presented a check for $6,939.05 to the Mt. Pleasant ISD Education Foundation at the regular August meeting of the MPISD Board of Trustees. The funds were generated by the MPISD NETCU Rally Card as part of their rewards program.
Accepting the donation were Education Foundation President Brad Lowry, Treasurer Vikki Goates, Program Vice President Becca Bell and Development Vice President Amy Hinton.
“We really appreciate the donation from the North East Texas Credit Union and thank them for their continued support of our Foundation,” said Dr. Judi Saxton, Foundation Executive Director and MPISD Director of Communication. “The support of the Mt. Pleasant business community, such as that given to us by NETCU, has contributed to the success of our Foundation.”
