On May 26, 320 Mount Pleasant High School seniors will walk across the stage at Sam Parker Field for the culmination of what, for most of them, will be 12 years of school. It was the end of an era and the beginning of another. It is a special occasion for them and their families.

But for a number of these MPHS seniors, the night had something extra. They will receive special recognition when they are awarded their diplomas.  They were recognized as graduating Magna Cum Laude.
