Mount Pleasant High School senior Jordan Dickerson signed a Division I scholarship to play softball for Northwestern State University on November 14. Northwestern is located in Natchitoches, La.
Jordan is a 3-year starter for the Lady Tigers and will start again at Short Stop this spring. Her honors include:
• District 15-5A Freshman of the Year in 2016
• District 16-5A MVP in 2017
• First team All East Texas Short Stop in 2017
• Honorable Mention All-State in 2017
• District 16-5A First Team Infielder in 2018
• Honorable Mention All East Texas Team in 2018
• Academic All-District in 2016, 2017, & 2018
In addition, Jordan holds five school records:
• .479 Batting Average for 2017
• .792 Slugging Percentage for 2017
• 16 Home Runs 2016-2018
• .392 Batting Average for 2016-2018
• .642 Slugging Percentage for 2016-2018
Jordan is the daughter of Kenny and Carole Dickerson.
