David Clark Recognized as Civic Learning Week All Star
Mount Pleasant High School English teacher and National Honor Society Advisor, David L. Clark, is being recognized as a 2025 Civic Learning Week All Star!
One of the many areas we have seen impact and commitment is his tireless effort to support and lead National Honor Society at Mount Pleasant High School. Inspiring students to get involved in community service delivers immediate community needs but also helps students demonstrate character, connectedness, and develops critical skills all through hands-on civic learning experiences.
As a proud partner of Civic Learning Week, we are thrilled to be able to elevate and celebrate David’s commitment to youth community service engagement. Â Volunteerism is a learned behavior and you have been a fabulous role model. Students at your school have already invested 1954 impact hours of talent and time in community service this school year.
March 10–14, 2025, marks Civic Learning Week, an annual celebration dedicated to promoting civic education and its importance in preparing people for their roles as informed and engaged participants in our society. We are grateful you have chosen to make time to guide and inspire the next generation, our students, to get involved in community service.  None of us thank you enough!
