The Blue Family, in honor of MPISD Board of Trustees Member Buddy Blue, is pleased to announce the establishment of The Blue Family Trade Scholarship. These $500 scholarships will be awarded to two Mount Pleasant High School seniors who will be entering a trade school or junior college to pursue a “trade” or “craft”.
The recipients of the first annual Buddy Blue Trade Scholarship are Damian Gwin who will attend Northeast Texas Community College in the fall, and Juan Zuniga, who will attend Kilgore College and study to be a lineman.
