MPJH ADT Competes at Nationals
The Mount Pleasant Junior High School Advanced Dance Team (ADT) competed at the Marching Auxiliaries Dance Nationals at College Park Center on the campus of The University of Texas at Arlington on Saturday, March 28. The team competed in the large Junior High/Middle School division with a novelty, a hip hop, and a pom routine and brought home three awards. ADT placed 1st in their division with their novelty routine, 2nd place in hip hop, and 3rd in pom.
The MPJH ADT will perform in the Tiger Doll Spring Show on April 17 and 18, the Wallace Dance Showcase on May 8, and the Junior High Dance Recital on May 9. They will host their annual ADT Dance Clinic on Friday, May 1 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. And they will have their tryout clinic from May 11-14 with tryouts for the 2026-2027 year on May 15. The MPJH Dance program is under the direction of Erica Davidson-Curley.
