The Mount Pleasant High School boys’ golf team sent two squads to Paris on Monday to compete in an exhibition tournament with both groups performing well. The field consisted of four teams and 22 players giving the Tigers show stiff competition to go up against. The two Tiger teams finished second and third shooting 323 and 361, respectively. Three Tiger golfers finished in the top five. Sophomore Matthew Peterson shot a 73 for a second-place finish while George Burrows was two shots back at 75 for a third-place result. Brady Sisk tied for fourth turning in a 77. The Tigers are coached by head coach Benny Blaser.
