Seniors
Senior exams will be given during the class period on the following days—
May 10 (1st & 2nd periods)
May 11 (3rd, 5th & 7th periods)
May 12 (4th, 6th, & 8th periods)
For a senior to be exempt from taking a semester exam, they must be passing the class for the semester and have no more than 3 absences this semester.
*Medical excused absences, bereavement excused absences, and school-related activity absences do not count against the student.
9th-11th graders
The exam schedule for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors is as follows:
May 17 (1st, 5th, & 7th periods)
May 18 (2nd, 4th, & 8th periods)
May 19 (3rd & 6th periods)
For a freshman, sophomore, or junior to be exempt from taking a semester exam, they must meet the following criteria:
•If the semester average is from a 90-100, they can have no more than 3 absences this semester.
•If the semester average is from 80-89, they can have no more than 2 absences this semester.
•If the semester average is from 70-79, they are only allowed 1 absence this semester.
•If the semester average is below 70 they must take the exam.
*Medical excused absences, bereavement excused absences, and school-related activity absences do not count against the student.
If there are questions about whether or not a student is exempt from an exam, the student should consult the teacher of that class.
