Mount Pleasant High School students in the Career and Technology Ag Mechanics program took their projects to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and returned to Mt. Pleasant with one blue ribbon and four red ribbons.

The students designed and built the projects in their Agricultural Mechanics class at MPHS. In addition to the projects, students had to prepare a Project Book that detailed the project from inception to completion. The students also had to do a presentation for a panel of judges and be prepared for questions that could range from how the project was designed to the type of materials used.

The students are now working to refine their projects and to complete others to take to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in March.
