After five meets, the Mount Pleasant High School Tiger Powerlifting team has qualified 4 lifters for the Regional meet. MPHS competes in Region 3 Division 1 which encompasses all 5A and 6A high schools in the Northeast Texas area. To qualify for the Regional meet, a lifter must be in the top 12 in their weight class.

Qualifying for the Regional meet are senior and 2023 and 2024 regional qualifier, Jose Gonzalez, senior and 2024 regional qualifier, Juymill Lewis, senior Luis Alvarado, and junior Bruno De Leon.

The Regional Meet is Thursday, March 6 at Arp High School. Tiger Powerlifting is coached by Blake Lodes.
