Mount Pleasant High School Senior Jennifer Flores has secured a place in the Region IV High School Mixed Choir and is one of only seven singers in her voice part to advance to the next round of auditions in late November. She competed against other area singers at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 4 Auditions.
Jennifer, the daughter of Robert and Tara Flores, is a four-year member of the High School Choirs under the direction of Luke Dean.
TMEA is an organization of over 11,000 school music educators dedicated to promoting excellence in music education. TMEA comprises five divisions: Band, Orchestra, Vocal, Elementary and College. TMEA leaders carefully monitor the actions of all state decision-making bodies on issues affecting fine arts instruction.
