Mount Pleasant High School Tiger and Lady Tiger golf played their first tournament of the fall season at the Tanglewood Golf Club in Pottsboro on September 16 and 17.

On Monday the 16th, the Tigers finished in 4th place overall with Jacob Baker and Hogan Horn tying for 5th place, both shooting a 77. Brandon Carter followed shooting an 85, Bradon Lowry 92, Alessandro Greco 107, and Christian Cruz 107.

On Tuesday the 17th, leading the way for the Lady Tigers was Kylee Strickland finishing in 2nd place overall with a 75, followed by Kate Ball with 117.

The Tigers and Lady Tigers will tee up again on October 2 at the Links at Land’s End in Yantis. MPHS golf is coached by Benny Blaser.
