MPHS FFA Attends Paris District Convention
Mount Pleasant High School FFA members attended the Paris District FFA Convention on January 12. Members listened to speeches and voted on the 2023-2024 District and Area Officer candidates and were audience members for performances from several FFA talent teams.
Mount Pleasant High School senior, Lincoln Ellis, was elected the Paris District State Officer nominee and will go on to compete at the Area 6 FFA Convention on February 27 to be the Area 6 State Officer nominee.
Mount Pleasant High School sophomore, Jonathan Dalby, represented MPHS FFA as a district officer candidate and was elected to serve as the 2023-2024 Paris District FFA Sentinel.
MPHS senior, Ethan Easley, and sophomore, Christo Escalante, competed in the Paris District FFA Talent Contest where they were awarded 1st place talent team. Easley and Escalante will travel to the Area VI FFA Convention on February 27 to perform for a chance to advance to the state level talent contest.
