Mount Pleasant High School students entered 38 pieces in the Fine Arts event at the Titus County Fair, 32 of which earned ribbons. The awards included a Sweepstakes and seven Best in Class ribbons.

 

Senior Dayanara Pulquero won 1st place, Best in Class, Best in Show, and the Sweepstakes ribbon for “Calm Envy”.

MPISD offers art instruction on every campus and a 4-year program at Mount Pleasant High School including AP classes for college credit. The MPHS art instructor is Laura Kirkland.
