Senior Ryan Sharp has been a fixture at the state swim meets the past couple of years and this year his hard work finally paid off. Sharp’s times in the 100m backstroke and 100m butterfly ranked him among the top swimmers in the state in Class 5A as he was placed on the 2nd Team All-State. Both times were posted by Sharp at the regional meet where he set a 52.84 mark in the backstroke and a 51.31 mark in the butterfly. Those times were good for 14th and 12th best respectively in the state. At the state meet held recently in San Antonio, Sharp finished 13th in the backstroke and 14th in the butterfly.
