Coming off a five-game tourney this past weekend, the Lady Tigers were back on the court hosting North Lamar on Tuesday night at Willie Williams Gym. Mount Pleasant took the Panthers to five sets narrowly losing the match by a score of 27-25, 25-21, 23-25, 22-25, and 12-15.

Trinitee Brannon led the attack with 13 kills followed by Paris Beard’s 9 kills and Ladi Guereca and Aziyah Farrier’s 6 kills each. Hadleigh Mays added 5 kills. Standout freshman Farrier also led the team at the service line with 4 aces. Genesis Roberson notched 20 assists and Jordyn Hargrave led the team with 21 digs followed by Roberson’s 19.

Mount Pleasant will play in the Hooks Tournament this Thursday and Saturday and will also play a match at Hooks on Friday evening.
