Corprew Elementary School welcomed representatives from Priefert Manufacturing Company to campus recently.  Wade Clark, Joe Falkner and Archie Hayley installed a plaque on the back of the memorial bench donated to the campus by its PTO in memory of teacher and coach Angelica Beard.

The plaque, donated by Priefert’s, was designed and cut out by Clark.

“We are grateful to Prieferts for donating the plaque and for installing it on the bench,” said Corprew Principal Amanda Jones. “The saying on the plaque, ‘It only takes one beautiful soul to impact the entire world’ will serve to remind us of Coach Beard and what she meant to this school and district.”

Angelica’s husband Terry and their two sons, both 3rd graders at Corprew, were on hand for the presentation.

The bench sits among fruit trees purchased with a grant from the Mt. Pleasant Education Foundation.
