MPHS Seniors Hold Toy Drive for Local Students
Clothes for the Classroom, a group made of Mount Pleasant High School seniors, is holding a toy drive for local children. The group, whose motto is for students, by students, held a clothing drive before school started and collected over 1800 articles of clothing that were distributed to local students. With the help of Communities in Schools, all toy donations will benefit students in Titus County schools. On Monday, December 9, Detective Marquin Brewer and Michael McGhee, representing the Mount Pleasant Law Enforcement Association, presented a check for $400 to group. To donate, call or text 903-573-2279.
