The Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy at Mount Pleasant High School completed its first service activity during the weeks of September 30-October 9. At the end of their first meeting, members received rosters of every 3rd and 4th grade class in MPISD. They wrote a specific student’s name and a personal note inside the front cover of each book. Leader Academy members personally delivered the 715 books to each elementary campus and read them with the students. This service activity is part of Chick-Fil-A’s million book giveaway. Leader Academy members will meet again on October 24 to continue their training and begin planning their own service projects to address needs in the Mount Pleasant community.
