The first ever MPHS Color Guard Camp was hosted by the MPHS Color Guard officers on June 26-30.  The camp was for ages 9-15.  The high school guard officers choreographed two routines and taught them to the attendees.  The participants performed these routines on Friday, showcasing what they learned on flag, dance, rifle and saber.  The MPHS Guard hopes to make this camp an annual event.

The camp was made possible by the high school guard officers:  Peyton McClendon (captain), Natiie Macedo and Katherine Lopez (lieutenants), Brooklyn Mata, Eileen Martinez, Jorge Banda and Abby Sneed (squad leaders) and the camp’s organizer, Presley McClendon.
