MPISD has earned a total of 16 academic distinctions this year! All MPISD campuses earned the rating of “Met Standard” in the Texas Education Agency’s recently released accountability ratings. Mount Pleasant High School earned 6 academic distinctions in the areas of: Math, Science, Social Studies, Student Progress, Closing the Achievement Gap, and Post-Secondary Readiness. Vivian Fowler Elementary earned 4 academic distinctions in the areas of: Reading/Language Arts, Student Progress, Closing the Achievement Gap, and Post-Secondary Readiness.
