Wallace Middle School held its third annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Thursday evening, September 19, to honor Hispanic Heritage Month that runs from September 15 to October 15. Teachers and organizations set up game booths such as a ring toss to win a 2-liter drink, Bingo, face painting, a dunking booth, and a cake walk. DJ Michael Zepeda provided a variety of music and food and drinks were available from Jorge’s, La Parrilla, Quick Sip, El Bajio, and Chillz on Wheelz. Wallace is commemorating Hispanic Heritage month through October 15 with hallway decorations, music during passing periods, and various classroom activities. Core Group Business Management sponsored the t-shirts for the staff members.
