Connelly Cowan, daughter of Collin and Kelly Cowan and a 6th grader at P.E. Wallace Middle School, is the winner of the Mount Pleasant Pilot Club Veterans Day Essay contest at P.E. Wallace.  This year’s topic was “What America Means to Me”.

Connelly received a certificate, a $75 cash prize, and read her essay during the Wallace Veterans Day program. She attended the January Pilot Club meeting at the Mount Pleasant Country Club where she read her essay for the members.
