MPJH Students Selected for All-Region Choir
Eleven Mount Pleasant Junior High School choir students were selected for places in the TMEA/UIL Region 4 Middle School All-Region Choir. The students competed with numerous middle school singers from the Northeast Texas area on Saturday, October 18 in Sulphur Springs.
Those selected for the Region 4 TMEA/UIL Choir include First Sopranos Kashayla Dawson (21st chair), Isabella Meeks (25th chair), and Alejandra Martinez (26th chair), Second Sopranos Madison Southern (15th chair) and Ramiee Kilgore (22nd chair), Alto Belle Erickstad (4th chair), Tenors Quaydan Webster (4th chair), Dannen Carroll (15th chair), Aiden Rodriguez (17th chair), and Basses Spencer Anderson (7th chair) and Damion Haley (11th chair).
“These students competed Saturday, October 18th with hundreds of other students from Northeast Texas schools to earn a spot in the TMEA/UIL Region 4 Middle School All Region Choir,” said MPJH Choir Director, Joshua Miles. “I am so proud of the work they put in to earn these spots. It is a great day to hear Tigers Sing!”
