Fourteen Mount Pleasant Junior High School choir students were selected for places in the UIL Junior High All-Region Choir, with three more chosen as alternates. To earn a place in the choir, each singer had to learn three selections and sing parts of each in a blind audition.

Those selected for the Region 4 TMEA/UIL Choir include First Sopranos Darlecia Williams and Nyvaeh Elliott, 2nd Sopranos Florencia Moreno, Kaydi Rogers, and Alexandra Cassio, Altos Klarissa Orduna, and Hannah Hughes, Tenors Aiden Burns, Jayson Carrillo, Caleb Townson, and CJ Quinn, and Basses Damion Haley, Ian Brown, and Gavin Hayes. Alternates include First Soprano Kashayla Dawson, Alto Arely Barbosa, and Tenor Spencer Anderson.

The MPJH Choir Director is Joshua Miles with assistance from the MPHS Choir Director, Nancy Vines.
