Mount Pleasant Junior High wants to remind parents that students will take the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) next week May 14th – 17th.

14th – STAAR Test: 6th & 7th Grade Mathematics; 8th Grade Mathematics Retest
15th – STAAR Test: 6th & 7th Grade Reading; 8th Grade Reading Retest
16th – STAAR Test: 8th Science
17th – STAAR Test: 8th Social Studies
17/18th – Make-up Testing

Please remember:
1.) Your support is appreciated to ensure that your student is in attendance and on time for testing, and that you don’t schedule doctor’s appointments during this time.
2.) Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before.
3.) Ensure that your child eats a healthy breakfast.
4.) Please leave electronics and backpacks at home.
