Mount Pleasant Junior High School 8th grader Aliyaah Howard is the proud winner of an iPad mini, presented by Workforce Solutions of Northeast Texas. Howard won the iPad in a drawing held after the Learning Endorsement and Professions (L.E.A.P.) Youth Expo held at the Mt Pleasant Civic Center October 16th.

She qualified for the drawing by visiting exhibitors at the Expo to learn about career paths and courses of study at Mount Pleasant High School.

Bart Spivey and Sandra Shingleur from the Workforce Solutions Office in Texarkana presented the iPad.  Workforce Solutions and the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce sponsored L.E.A.P.
