The Mount Pleasant High School UIL Academic team took 1st place team honors at the annual Whitehouse Wildcat Winter Games on Saturday, February 3. In addition to numerous individual medals, MPHS also took home 1st place team plaques in Spelling, Calculator Applications, Mathematics, Journalism, Number Sense, and Current Events.

The team will be back in action at the Hallsville Tournament of Hearts on Friday and Saturday, February 13 and 14 as they continue to prepare for the district meet in March.
