The Mount Pleasant High School UIL Academic team continued its push toward district on Friday and Saturday, February 10-11 at the annual Tournament of Hearts at Hallsville High School. Two events (Social Studies and Spelling) placed 1st as a team and two events (Calculator and Accounting) came in 2nd as a team.

The MPHS UIL Academic teams will compete again at the SSHS Judy Tipping Memorial UIL Invitational Meet in Sulphur Springs on February 17-18 as they prepare for the district meet in March.
