Three Mt. Pleasant High School theatre students had the opportunity to attend the State UIL One-Act Play competition in Austin. Two qualified with projects. One was selected to be a part of the Honor Crew.

Senior Briniqua Stephens received an Exemplary rating for Individual Hair and Makeup at Regional competition, which qualified her entry to compete at State. Senior Vasti Mejia received an Exemplary rating in Individual Costuming at Regionals.  Her entry also competed at State.

Junior Alyson Cortez participated as part of the Honor Crew for the One Act Play State contest.  Only 50 in the state are chosen to be a part of the Honor Crew.
