The Mount Pleasant High School Spelling team placed first at Hallsville UIL Academic Meet. Anayeli Rodriguez scored a 95, while Anahi Rodriguez and Karla Ochoa both tied with each other with a 94.  Their overall score was a 283.

“This is the highest score they’ve ever had in three years of competition,” said Regina Crouch, MPHS Academic UIL Director. “We are excited about this because last year’s state scores were not this high.”
