Mount Pleasant High School senior, Ladi’roliairty Guereca, known to most as Ladi, signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Southwestern Christian College where she will be an outside hitter and middle blocker for the Lady Rams. Located in Terrell, TX, SwCC participates in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 5 as a Division I program with fellow junior colleges Cisco, Hill, Ranger, Temple, North Central Texas, Vernon, Mountain View, and Dallas College—Richland.

Guereca has been a four-year member of the Lady Tiger volleyball team where she was an outside hitter, middle blocker, and defensive specialist. In 2021 she was selected for the Academic All-District team. When asked about what she would miss about high school, she said “I will miss sitting in the student section at basketball games and cheering on the MPHS Tigers.” She is the daughter of Crystal and Enrique Guereca.
