After competing at the area track meet on Friday, April 17 at Sam Parker Stadium in Mount Pleasant, MPHS is sending 6 athletes in 6 events to the regional meet. The UIL 5A Region 2 meet is May 1-2 at Maverick Stadium on the campus of UT Arlington. Regional qualifying coaches include Jeffery Litke (Head Boys Coach), Travis Buchanan (Head Girls Coach and the 200), Kavan Johnson (hurdles), Jessica Stanley (discus), Tevin Godfrey (triple jump), and Chase Vaughn (pole vault).
